What are the courses available on a distance learning mode?

Certificate courses are offered in a wide range of subjects that are closely related to the operations of a hotel. Housekeeping, F&B, Training for the Hospitality Industry are just three of the many courses that you can do. EI courses are written by the very top experts in the operations of the company. How do I study for the course?
As soon as your registration is accepted, we will send you the learning materials in the form of a book. Each subject for which you register is covered by a separate book. The books are written by industry experts in very simple, easy to understand language.
To prepare for the examinations, read the book, answer the questions that are found at the end of each chapter and revise as many times as possible.

How do I study for a specialization certificate?
Since you are required to complete 5 subjects, some planning is required. You may start with just one or more subjects. Write to us about the subjects that you have selected and we will send you the books. You will then proceed in the same way as with individual certificate courses.

How much fees do I have to pay?
The fees for individual courses and specialization courses are listed below:

Instalment Schedule
- Initial Payment for Individual Course RM400
- plus 2 Monthly Instalments for Individual Course RM315
Full Payment Schedule
- Course Fee for Specialisation RM6,000

- Initial Payment for Specialisation RM2,400
- plus 2 Monthly Instalments for Specialisation RM1,890

How do I take the examinations?
When you are ready to take the examinations, let us know by sending an email to
canny.tan@stamford.edu.my or call Miss Canny Tan at 603-79688053 during office hours and we will arrange for you to take the examinations. We can arrange for you to have the examinations taken at any of the main cities of Malaysia or even in remote parts of the country, so long as we can find someone acceptable to supervise your examination. Anyone responsible, such as a hotel manager or the principal of the local school would be acceptable. However, you must give us adequate notice if you wish to take your examinations in a remote place.
As soon as you have completed the five examinations and passed them, you will be awarded the certificate that you registered for.

How do I register?
Just click here for an application form. Print out the form and fill the details requested and return the form to the address shown on the form. Please attach the correct fees. If you have any questions or wish to speak to someone please call Mr Oh Kong Lum at 012-3650306 or call Miss Canny Tan at 603-79688053 between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m. Monday to Friday. Between 9 a.m. and 1 p.m. on Saturdays. We will be happy to talk to you or arrange to meet you at a time convenient to you. In any case, we will call you once we receive your application form.
