OBJECTIVES
1. To develop the students ability in solving vectors and matrices problems related to engineering applications.
2. To provide the basic knowledge of fields, scalar and vector quantities.
3. To provide fundamental understanding of matrices and their properties.

LEARNING OUTCOME
Upon the completion of the unit, the students will be able to:
1. Distinguish and interpret vector and scalar quantities.
2. Solve physical problems related to scalar and vector quantities.
3. Determine the results of addition, subtraction, multiplication, adjoin, inverse and transpose of matrices.
4. Solve higher order simultaneous equations using matrices method.
