OBJECTIVES
This course aims to equip students with computer and information technology principles. The course will also discuss the function of computer and network solutions and IT peripherals. Besides that, the impact of Internet on organisations will be taught in the class.

LEARNING OUTCOME

SYNOPSIS

This course is an introduction to Information Technology. Topics discussed include hardware and software principles, networking layout and topology, Internet in Business as well as the impact of Internet towards the society. Besides that, Management Information Systems will be introduced with Database and Office Automation components.
