OBJECTIVES
The objectives of the course are to enable students to 1. Learn the differences in the structures of how radio and television are reported. 2. Know the doメs and donメts of producing good material for radio and television broadcast.

LEARNING OUTCOME
At the end of the course, students will be able to : 1. Distinguish between the particular requirement and structures of radio and television news reporting; 2. Produce material suitable for broadcast by radio and television systems; 3. Determine the particular responsibilities of and limitations to radio and television journalists; 4. Evaluate their role in news production respective to their choice of questions and their selections in a substantial written assignment.

SYNOPSIS

This unit covers practical and critical aspects of radio and television news current affairs journalism. It includes news-gathering, research, writing and production skills in audio and video, together with aspects of broadcast journalism ethics and law.
