OBJECTIVES
The objectives of the course are to enable students to 1. Develop an understanding on the role of journalism in society. 2. Understand the practice and process of journalism.

LEARNING OUTCOME
At the end of the course, students will be able to; 1. Determine the major principles and practice in the process of journalism. 2. Identify the journalistic requirement for research and information gathering. 3. Research and produce material suitable for publication in news and feature lifestyle. 4. Evaluate the ethical, legal, social, and political aspects.

SYNOPSIS

This course introduces the detail of print journalism the methods of research and information gathering for news, documenting and other forms of writing.
