OBJECTIVES
The
objectives of the course are to enable students to :
1. Demonstrate an understanding of the behaviour of people both as
individuals and as members of groups in organisations for the purpose
of predicting, explaining, and controlling behaviour that occurs in
organisations.
2. Demonstrate an understanding of the nature and impact of
organisational processes that influence work behaviour.
3. Integrate the theory of organisational behaviour with management
practice.
LEARNING OUTCOME
At the end of the course, students will be able to:
1. Understand the meaning and nature of organisational behaviour
2. Appreciate the individualメs contribution to the organisational performance
3. Understand the process of learning and its application to organisations

SYNOPSIS
This
unit covers the main principles behind the management of people in
organisations. It is designed to introduce the students to the various
theories and concepts that explain the contribution and management of
organisationsメ most valuable asset - the employees.
