OBJECTIVES
The objectives of the course are to enable students to: 1. Provide an understanding of the principles and techniques of presentation to the student. 2. Prepare the student with communication skills. 3. Expose the student to idea building, researching topics, analysing audience and exposing student to general communication process. 4. Make students more confident in delivering presentation and speeches.

LEARNING OUTCOME
At the end of the course, the student will be able to: 1. Identify and describe aspects of presentation. 2. Recognise and practise active listening. 3. Be fully aware of his/her communication needs and strengths. 4. Demonstrate effective group communication. 5. Construct and deliver expository and persuasive speeches.

SYNOPSIS

This is a course designed to improve the communication and presentation skills of the student.
