Diploma in Information Technology
THE PROGRAMME
This programme is designed for students who want to develop fundamental skills and knowledge in Information
Technology. Upon completion of the programme, the student will have a strong foundation in the technologies of
managing information in organisations, as well as specialist knowledge in other computing subjects.
The overall aim of this programme is to equip students with practical IT and software application skills to meet the needs
of local and international IT industries for entry-level IT jobs. It is suitable for those who wish to pursue in Information
Technology after successfully completing their diploma. The student can also acquire an optional professional qualification
in Networking (Cisco Certified Networking Associate).
At Stamford, upon completion of Diploma in IT students can advance to the B.Sc. (Hons) Computer Networks (University
of East London) that is fully taught at Stamford College PJ.
