OBJECTIVES
The
objective of this subject is to teach and understand the rules &
regulations in the corporate framework; the method of fund raising to
finance the company financial position; the legal requirement of the by
various statutory bodies; and to explain the role of company agent.
LEARNING OUTCOME
On completion of this subject, the learners should be able to:
- compare and contrast the elements of each business organisation
- advise on the legal requirement imposed on corporate framework
- recommend the best method to finance the company
- apply corporate practice to commercial transaction
- advise on the legal procedure required in the formation and winding up of company
- advise on the each agent of a company, from pre incorporation of company
- analyse the rights, duties and power of promoter, director, secretary and shareholders of a company.
SYNOPSIS
This
subject introduces the general regulatory framework in the
administration of a corporation so that the person is able to
understand the implementation of the said regulatory framework into the
day-to-day running of a corporation at a later stage.
