OBJECTIVES
The objective of this subject is to enable students to instil good ethical principles in the management of corporate venture; to impart the reasoning and analytical skills needed to apply ethical concepts to business decisions.

LEARNING OUTCOME
On completion of this subject, the learners should be able to:

  • explain the moral philosophical background and the approaches to business ethics
  • explain how and why the role of business in society might change and need to be managed
  • discuss the responsibilities of the companies and their external and internal stakeholders
  • analyse on the ethical issues in business
  • evaluate employeeメs obligations to the firm.

SYNOPSIS

This subject introduces the students to the ethical and moral problems faced by businesses and how important it is to make good decisions based on ethical principles.
