OBJECTIVES
The objectives of the course are to enable students to: - Understand the nature and purpose of business activity. - Explore the structure of business. - Understand the business objectives of the various stakeholders. - Explore the environment within which business operates and the services available to assist its operation. - Understand the functional activities within an organisation and understand the importance of their interdependence. - Expose students to the theory and concepts of business.

LEARNING OUTCOME

SYNOPSIS

Discussion of principles and functions of basic business structure in organisations and exploration of environment of factors relating to a business, marketing financial management and human resource planning.
