LEARNING OUTCOME
At the end of the module, students should be able to:
1. identify the main components of a lecture that are to be assessed;
2. name the 13 characteristics of good teaching (Ramsden, 1992);
3. describe the 7 competencies of teaching (Schoen, n.d.);
4. list out the 21 elements of student assessment of lecturers (CAE);
5. compare & contrast Lowmans (1995) student assessment of lecturers with that of CAE.
