B.Sc. (Hons)Computer Networks

University of East London's Bachelor of Science (Hons) Computer Networks, is a programme offered by the University. Students may complete part of their degree at Stamford College (2 years) and the final year at the University of East London, UK.

This programme covers a wide range of subjects related to networked computer systems, distributed systems, computer hardware, protocols, software tools, and application across the area of computer networks. A compulsory final year project incorporates the development of project management, research and practical skills to prepare students for employment. Throughout the course, students are exposed to the production of a security policy for an organization, with reference to the impact of network security breaches on organizations and business matters. This will enable the students to gain an appreciation and understanding of a multidisciplinary approach to modeling, structuring, design, programming and interfacing together with a range of subject specific skills.

Requirement

Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia (SPM or Malaysia Certificate of Education), through Stamford's Diploma in Information Technology and other recognized equivalent qualifications.

STPM / A-Levels or equivalent for entry into Year 1.

Diplomas from professional bodies and other colleges may be given exemptions on a case-to-case basis.
