ACCA

THE PROGRAMME

The Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) was founded in 1904 and was granted its Royal charter in October 1974. It is the fastest-growing accountancy body recognised by statute in the U. K., with over 240,000 students and 105,000 members in 170 countries.

ACCA is not just growing in size. Its reach and influences extends further across the globe. ACCA has been around for over 100 years and in that time, it has built a reputation of excellence in qualifications and training that is recognized around the world, especially by employers and accountants.

ACCA graduates with relevant experience could be admitted directly into the Malaysian Institute of Accountants (MIA).

As a Certified Accountant, the holder will have an unusually wide choice of careers ranging from industry, commerce and public sector in the areas of financial accounting, financial management, internal control and management accounting, and public practice in the areas of accounting services, auditing, taxation, insolvency or corporate recovery as well as management consultancy.
